Wolfblood is a CBBC Fantasy Drama set in rural England. We explore a dark forest, a landscape made of 2D silhouettes layered in 3D. The application of light and shadow is used to create a mysterious atmosphere and is reminiscent of shadow puppetry. On our journey we are introduced to the characters and their wolf transformation. We wanted to express the teenager's burden of protecting their secret, but also the wild spirit of the wolves.
Below are my original boards that I pitched for the title sequence. My sequence would of been highly illustrated and would showcase the powers the wolf people have, and we highlight these with colourful paint strokes, as in the show the wolf people can see people auras and I thought that was a good way to depict those powers.
