Mr Sloane is the hit Sky One comedy written and directed by Robert B.Weide, who is the mastermind behind the show Curb Your Enthusiasm. Set in 1969, Watford, England, Jeremey Sloane, played by Nick Frost, is at the end of his rope after a number of setbacks in his life, but that's all about to change after a chance encounter with a free spirited, young american girl called Robin. The title sequence for the show was to reflect all the previous aspects of his life that are mentioned in the show such as his old accountacny job and his evenings in the pub, and how they have all fallen apart or changed around him, while Sloane is still the same old man, and whilst his life is on the up within the show he still has his clamity side to him
